Delete your account
You can delete your Hey OnTime account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Hey OnTime on your device.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and associated data are removed.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify your request and delete your account, typically within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove the data tied to it, including:
- Your account and email address
- Your display name and profile photo
- Your saved origins (labels, addresses, and coordinates)
- Your preferences (buffer, travel mode, notification settings)
- Any pending scheduled reminders (event titles, times, and locations)
- Your push notification token
Your calendar is read on your device and is not stored on our servers except for the limited reminder data above, which is also deleted.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Backups: residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
- Purchase/subscription records: transaction records required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes may be retained as required by law. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google — cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account; deleting your Hey OnTime account does not cancel an active store subscription.
